Two cars with the same trouble code or the same symptom can have different problems. Before you buy parts or decide on a repair, have the car tested by a qualified technician, whether that is us or another shop.
Where an article mentions how often we see a fault, or what a repair involved, the figure comes from our own repair records at the time it was written. Parts, prices and procedures change. The only quote that applies to your car is the one we give you after we have looked at it.
Hybrid and electric cars carry high voltage. The orange cables and the battery pack can seriously hurt or kill you. Please do not open them up on the strength of anything you read here.
