We offer drop-in service for DEQ Emissions Testing
Drop-in testing is available 9AM to 4PM weekdays, but you must text us when you’re on your way so we can be ready for you.
You will have to pay fees directly to the DMV, but we don’t charge anything extra to run the test.
Quick Check: Can I use DEQ Too™?
We can only test your vehicle if:
- your vehicle is newer than 2005
- you’re renewing Oregon tags in Oregon
- you have a renewal slip with a DEQ Too™ Renewal Code
You CANNOT USE DEQ Too™ for the following:
- Transfers from out of state
- Any transaction with change of ownership
- Anything except an Oregon renewal meeting the above guidelines

2005 and newer model year vehicles qualify for the DEQ Too option.
- Vehicle is registered within the DEQ testing boundary.
- Have a current registration renewal and must be renewed before the registration has been expired for over 365 days.
- Able to complete DEQ certification and DMV registration online only.
- Vehicle model year is 4 years or older (Click for a current list of exempted model years).
- Vehicle must have an electronic VIN; typically, model years 2005 and newer. (Gasoline/flex fueled vehicles larger than 8,500 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight, and must be model years 2013 and newer. GVW can normally be found on the driver’s side door-jam labels.)
- Standard passenger plated vehicles only. (No: T-plate, B-Plate, Permanent Fleet, Tow/recovery)
